I like telling stories, like the ones told throughout history. Action filled with passion, intrigue, and conflict, but without the blatant grossness and sexuality that many authors use to sell their product today. A book should hit hard, but leave room for the imagination. Great authors are remembered for their impassioned storytelling. Writers such as Tolkien, Lewis, Brooks, and others, wove tales that spoke of desperate struggles and flawed heroes, but without the over-the-top, meaningless explicitness of many of today’s works.
